Venue: The Cresset, Bretton, Peterborough Well. Big gig. Car Park. Cresset. Bretton. Peterborough. Sunday Evening. Raining. What a fun time the band had. Really. Great fun. They took the opportunity to live rehearse some of the line up for the Peterborough Beer Festival, so as you can see here there are 14 people all crammed onto the little stage. Great time was had by all concerned though. It was like a village up there. I don't know how it sounded out there. In fact, I'm not entirely sure how it sounded on stage, since there were 14 people and only 4 monitors. You work out the mathematics! Select the bizarre photographs above to view their full-sized versions, clicking on the back button of your broswer when you're sure you're all quite finished. Strike a light m'boy, I think you've got it.. Photographer: Phillip Ayres Same applies, do the clicking on the thumbnail thing to view the full sized images, and then click on that there back button to return here. Jolly good. It's a shame that the rain didn't hold fire, but the courage of the audience that stayed out was impressive (although not as impressive as the intelligence of some of them who opted to watch the gig from the comfort and warmth of their own cars. Clever. Very clever indeed. That said, it didn't do much for the community atmosphere, stopping in your motor!) |
