Photo Shoot 2 happened immediately before a gig in Thorney on the 17th November 2001. The line ups and waist lines had changed considerably since the band's first session of pics, and we had to get some shots ready for our new year's eve gig then. All a bit last minute we made a few calls to get everybody wearing roughly the same clobber to the gig that nite, gave the photographer a ring who gave us a thirty minute window to get these out and that was that. We turned up at the gig and started setting up. The photographer turned up and started setting up. Due to space constraints, the backdrop was positioned in the middle of the dance floor with the bar and its punters straight behind. Oddly enough there was no poking of the heads around the sides to have a shufty, but I guess people around here are getting used to all that. It was the photographer's birthday that day, and he was calling through on the way to his nite out. We took the shots in one go, he packed away and left, and we had one of the best gigs in ages. Incidentally, all of these photos are unchanged - the original band photo was heavily played with in Photoshop to get a decent composite together. We must have gotten used to it... Just a few shots...You'll find more photographs from this session in the Band section underneath each individual member. These photographs have the absence of Lewis Slack on Alto Sax. For some reason he couldn't make it that nite. I can't quite remember why now. Still, doesn't matter... |
